Editorial policy

Five rules govern every page: quote the law by section, show the sum, promote no one, invent nothing, and say how the text was made.

Rule 1: the law is quoted, not paraphrased from memory

Statements about Kenyan gambling law come from the text of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 and the regulations made under it in 2026, as published by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya. Each guide lists the document, the section or regulation, and the date it was read.

Where the published text is unclear or contains an obvious drafting slip, the page says so instead of guessing. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

Rule 2: the arithmetic is shown

Probabilities and house-edge figures are derived from the stated rules of a game, and the working is written out so that a reader can repeat it. Examples with invented stakes are labelled "Illustrative example".

Figures for specific commercial game titles are not quoted unless they can be confirmed in the provider's own official documentation. Where that is not possible, the mechanism is explained in general terms without a number.

Rule 3: no promotion

The site does not advertise gambling. It contains no rankings, ratings, bonuses, promo codes, affiliate links or links to operators, and no invitation to gamble. Gambling is never described as income, investment or a solution to money problems.

Rule 4: nothing invented about the site

There are no claims of personal play, hands-on trials, awards or audience size, because none would be true. The site is new, has no named reviewer and no published legal entity.

Rule 5: how texts are made and checked

Texts on this site are prepared by the editorial team with AI tools and are checked automatically against primary sources before publication.

In practice this means drafts are written with AI assistance from the source documents listed on each page. An automated check then looks for missing sources, placeholder text, prohibited promotional wording, broken links and text copied between pages before anything is published.

There is no named human expert reviewer at present, and the byline says "Editorial" for that reason. If that changes, this section will say who reviews what.

Sources that are not used

Affiliate and review sites, forums, news reports, encyclopaedias written by anonymous users and aggregators are not cited as sources of fact.

Dates and updates

Each guide shows when it was last updated. Legal texts change; a page is only as current as its date. Errors are handled as set out on the corrections page.
