No operator pays to be mentioned, and none is recommended. The cost of running the site is carried by its publisher.
Why the site is advertising-free
Kenyan law restricts gambling promotion. Section 87(1) of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 prohibits promoting the advertisement of a gambling activity without the approval of the Gambling Regulatory Authority. The Gambling Control (Advertising) Regulations, 2026 define "advertisement" broadly in regulation 2, to cover any form of communication that promotes or is intended to promote participation in a gambling activity.
Regulation 9 of the same Regulations bars a gambling advertisement from carrying a call-to-action message, using testimonials, featuring former winners or depicting gambling as a source of investment or income. Regulation 14 makes publishing an unapproved or prohibited gambling advertisement an offence.
This site holds no such approval. It therefore publishes explanation only, and keeps away from anything that would steer a reader towards a particular operator or towards gambling at all.
If this ever changes
Any future income would be disclosed on this page before it starts, with the date. Commercial links to gambling operators would not appear without the regulator's approval for that format, and would be labelled where they appear.
Whatever the funding, the maths on the site does not move: a house edge is a house edge. The rules for content are in the editorial policy.
